Sister Morningstar is Native American of the Northern Cherokee Nation. She is a natural born teacher, midwife and wise woman. Her published writing are “THE POWER OF WOMEN: INSTINCTUAL BIRTH STORIES” and a small book of prayers called “HOLINESS IN THE MORNING.”
Right now “Sister,” as she is affectionately called, is in Ireland at the beginning of an 8 week tour which will then take her to Greece, Serbia, the UK, Denmark and Belgium. She was invited by women in these 6 countries to come and teach. In Dublin’s airport, I asked Sister what she will be teaching. She said that her words and actions are in response to what the women in each group want and need. Having known Sister for over 20 years, I know she will be giving her all to these women. They will have fun while learning from a spiritually spontaneous and wise truth teller.
Sister lives in the Missouri Ozarks (USA) in a tiny cottage on 150 acres she calls The Holyland. This land is a sanctuary for all living creatures, a gathering place for women’s retreats and a sacred space for burial.
When a close friend of Sisters heard that a book is being written about her, he said, “There needs to be a documentary.” He felt it was important to preserve wisdom that is being lost in highly developed cultures. Love Delivers agrees and with help from the Civilization Research Institute, our many friends and family, we will help make this documentary a reality.
